We are delighted to inform that Sierra Bravo School under the ATO: NL-ATO-246/1 have been approved by Austro Control to be the first EASA examination center in South America, so you have the benefit of sitting your exams with us, in a comfortable and familiar environment.

Procedure of the exams with Austro Control

ICAO ATPL to an EASA ATPL: First and foremost, the ICAO license and the associated Type Rating must be valid, for more information please contact examinations@austrocontrol.at

Download the relevant application ( ATPL (A) and ATPL (H) ) below.

a) ATPL A Conversion Application must complete pages 1, 2 and 3 of the form electronically and then e-mail directly to Austro Control with the last pages of your logbook, license and passport – examinations@austrocontrol.at Austro Control will then check that and send you confirmation.

b) ATPL H Conversion Application must complete pages 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the form electronically and then e-mail directly to Austro Control with the last pages of your logbook, license and passport – examinations@austrocontrol.at Austro Control will then check that and send you confirmation.

After you have received confirmation from Austro Control fill up your details on our website stating which dates and subjects you would like to take - one of our time member will contact you with the next steps.

NOTE: If you have already had confirmation from Austro Control you just need to Book your exams below.

Summary

Exams are taken on IPads provided at the exam center with the results available immediately after the exam. They are also sent by email to the candidate from Austro Control.

The identity of the applicant will be confirmed before an examination is taken.

All examination paper, associated documents and additional papers handed out to the applicants for the examination will be handed back to the invigilator at the end of the examination.

Annex are viewable on-screen and printed if the question requires it.

Results are available instantly.

Applicants may use the following equipment during an examination:
- A scientific, non-programmable, non-alphanumeric calculator without specific aviation functions.
- Mechanical navigation slide-rule (DR calculator)
- Protractor
- Protractors and dividers Ruler
- CAPs
- Jeppesen Student Manual
- Dictionary

Mobile phone, smart watches and electronic devices must be switched off and place in your bag. Tiepins, Brooches and sunglasses must be removed and placed in your bag. Any types of recording or photographic device is prohibited, electronic earphones are not permitted.

Value - Fees

The fees are   €140   Euros per exam and payment is by bank transfer only (we do not accept credit card or cash). Booking, changes and cancellations must be made 10 working days before the start of the exam week.
